I am blog obsessed! July wins

Halfway through my first year of blog obsession, and my good luck and work is still paying off in great prizes. Each win is special and I want to make sure I express my thanks to each blog and sponsor for making my day! Thank you so much!

4/5 Oxford is Heaven Shoe giveaway won from Take it From Me. Rachel has an amazing talent. Her shoes are beautiful and unique. Check them out on her etsy site and flickr page. I asked for a peacock inspired shoes and here is the gorgeous creation!

5/1 Pur Faucet Mount and Sigg bottle won from Xmas Dolly. My husband refuses to drink water out of the tap, I was so sink of buying bottled water. So I was super excited about this win! Now I don't have to hear him complain and he doesn't have to hear me complain about spending money on water.

5/14 Wonder Hangers won from My Four Monkeys. I love my wonder hangers, I have pretty small closets in my master bedroom. I was able to utilize the space better by hanging some pants and dress clothes using the wonder hangers. I tried also using them in my hall closet for jackets (why do we have so many?) but it didn't work out so well because the jackets were too heavy. I'm still grateful for the help it gave me in my closet though!

6/7 "Hannah's List" by Debbie Maccomber won from Mom Reviews. "Hannah's List" also came with 20 other Debbie Maccomber's best selling books. Excited to get so many books, perfect for summer beach reading.

6/16 Orient Ladies Watch won from Fairy Blog Mother now called Annette Funnyjello.com. I choose a silver watch with a peachy pink face. Its beautiful! I love my new watch!

6/17 O'Brien and Schriddle Picture Frame won from The Shopping Mama. I won a gorgeous vintage looking black photo frame. I was so excited to receive this because I do not own many nice things for my new house. O-Brien and Schriddle have so many other gorgeous photo frames in many different styles as well.

7/1- Baby Bunch Organic Cupcakes set of 4 won from Baby Loving Mama. This super cute baby bunch set is going to be a gift at the next baby shower I go to. Back in the spring I also won a Baby Bunch Bonquet and the mother to be loved it not only because of the cool packaging (shaped like cupcakes, lollipops, and flower bonquets) but also the onises are made of great quality materials.

7/2 Aquafina Flavor Splash won from Seeryus Mama. I received two free Aquafina flavored water product coupons and Aquafina chapstick. My husband loved the grape flavored water.

7/3 Nutella won from A Nut in a Nutshell. Nutella, I can not adequately express my love affair with Nutella. Forget butter, forget jelly, heck forget the bread, just give me Nutella.

7/6 K'nex toys won from The B Keeps Us Honest. The three Sesame Street toys, Cookie Monster, Ernie, and of course Elmo made a great birthday gift for my neighbor's one year old. Each came in a cute container that looked like their character with all the pieces inside.

7/11 "The Magic Warble" by Victoria Simcox won from Heck of a Bunch. I haven't had a chance yet to read this book, its on my "to-read" shelf. From the amazing Amaon reviews (4 1/2 stars!), I can't wait to read it. I love fantasy-sci-fi young adult books.

7/14 Arm and Hammer Whitening won from Heck of a Bunch. I have already noticed an improvement using this product. I'm glad I won this so I could have a chance to try it.

7/14 Sunglass Warehouse won from Really Are You Serious? Because I so rarely win anything that can go towards my husband, I let him pick out a pair of sunglasses. I was impressed with Sunglass Warehouse's huge selection at great prices and how quickly we received our sunglasses.

7/19 Daizy Daze Magnets and photo frame won from Sugar Pop Ribbons. Daizy Daze sells cute magnets and photo frames on its Etsy shop. My fridge is covered with them.

7/20 Percy Jackson and the Olympians DVD won from Two of a Kind, Working on a Full House. I really liked this movie that a family together can enjoy. Its hard to find a movie that will keep both kids and adults interested in it. Plus I've always loved Greek mythology.

7/27 Veggie Patch won from My Four Monkeys. I won 2 free product coupons and 2 $1 off coupons to try out Veggie Patch products. I'm really glad I got to read a review on their products and try them out!

7/30 Amy's Kitchen Vegetarian Meals won from Girl Gone Mom. I won a free Amy's Vegeterian product coupon. I really love Amy's pizzas too, so I was so glad to win this.

2/22 Fall Down Tree Print Giveaway won at Familyicious Reviews blog. Fall Down Tree has really cute prints of animals like rabbits, birds, and dinosaurs and other fun children's characters like Peter Pan. I choose a really cute print of Peter Pan, Wendy, John, and Michael.

3/10 Ecogear Bag won at Familyicious Reviews blog. I love my Ecogear bag. I usually carried my oversize bag to work with my keys, phone, wallet, book, lunch, etc... all in a jumbled mess. Now I carry my book bag to work and to the store. The convenient pockets makes it easier for me to find things and its the perfect size for me.

5/19 Hapari swimwear $96 gift certificate won from Review Retreat. I choose the Cali bikini top, bottom, and a skirt and still had a little bit of money left. I wore my suit all summer and received a lot of compliments on it. Not only are the prints and styles cute, but the quality is great too.

5/21 EcoTools Bath Pouf won from Night Owl Mama. I needed a new one too. Love the green sage color too.

5/24 Organizher Products from Mead and a $25 Target Gift Card won at The Mom Buzz. I received a calendar, planner, file folder, and notebook. I need all of it to organize my house! I loved the cool design, especially the elastic holders on the edges to open and close the books. And of course who doesn't like to shop at Target!

6/2 at Survey Junkie I won an assortment of K-cups for a Keurig coffee maker. My sister just received a Keurig coffee maker as a wedding gift, so those K-cups were a great addition to her and her new husband.

6/3 All Oxi-Active Detergent won at Let's Give It Away. I normally use All detergent anyways, but I did not have a chance yet to try the new Oxi-Active detergent. Also, saving money on any kind of household consumables, is a big bonus at my house.

6/4 Reunion Island Coffee and stainless steel cup at Really Are you Serious? My parents are huge coffee fans so I gave them this delicious blend to try. I kept the shiny, red stainless steel cup though!

6/4 Organic Bistro frozen products won at One 2 Try. I'm not much of a cook so I'm always excited to try new frozen products and meals. These meals were not only good but healthy! It was a nice change to have one of these products for lunch instead of my usual peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

6/19 HP Photosmart Printer, model B209a, won at Rockin Mama. This was definitely my big amazing win of the month. I needed a new printer too, especially one that can print digital photos with such great quality. The printer is wireless capable. I can hook my camera up and print directly from the camera, scan pictures and print, or print pictures and documents from my computer. I love my new printer, its so pretty too!

She actually said, "Well you've already saved enough, so what's the difference." My response, "I can never save enough!" I stood my ground until she redeemed it.

5/14 Oka B Sandals from Shoes That You Love Facebook contest. This was my first and so far my only facebook win. I usually don't enter facebook contests preferring to keep that account for just family and friends, but after entering a number of Oka B sandals giveaways and not winning, I found out that if you friended Shoes That You Love, every Friday during that time period 3 winners were be chosen. On my first Friday try, I won a pair of Elle flip flops in silver.

5/16 Jiffy Lube gift card from The B Keeps Us Honest. I loved winning this! I hate spending money on vehicle maintenance, I know it's a necessity and all of that boring stuff, but man I would much rather be buying something for the house or my closet. Winning this $35 gift card, meant my car got inspected for free... now if I could only win another one for that pesky oil change that is due.

5/16 $20 Dick's Sporting Goods card from A Mom's Impression. Again another nice win for my husband who loves the shoes and clothes at Dick's.

This prize pack came with not only coupons to try the new yoplait greek yogurt but a bath robe and spa bath accessories.

5/21 at Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm Hand Creme from Thanks, Mail Carrier. I love how soft my hands feel after I put this creme on.

5/20 Flojos flip flops from The B Keeps Us Honest. These flip flops are really comfortable and I've been wearing them all summer.

5/22 Duke Mayo Prize Pack from the Thrifty Wifey. The Prize Pack included a jar of Duke's mayonaise, a Duke T-shirt, and a Duke tote bag.

5/25 Searcey Designs Birthstone Ring won from A Mom's Balancing Act. This was a complete fluke of a win. I did the mandatory one entry and I completely forgot to go back and do the extras and the daily tweets. Somehow, my one entry was pulled out of 616 entries! I felt a little bad others who tried harder didn't win, but I guess its a prime example of how random these giveaways are. The ring is beautiful and I feel very lucky to have won it, I choose the peridot green color.

5/25 Tyson Grilled Chicken from Mom Reviews. These grilled chicken strips are great for salads and quesadillas!

As you can guess this was a great month for cleaning supplies I don't think I'll have to buy any for the rest of the year. And now I don't have any excuse for not cleaning!

In fact, I consulted with a friend before deciding on the black Silvia. The shoes are so comfortable and the quality is fantastic. I'm definitely planning on buying more Cordani shoes.

4/24 Cream Perfume lwon from A Nut in a Nutshell. I choose the Lavender scent (my favorite). The lotion works really well and the scent is fresh without being overpowering.

4/27 Violight Travel Toothbrush Sanitizer from Survey Junkie. Seems like there is a lot of talk about the amount of germs on toothbrushes... I usually prefer just not to think about such things. But now, with this win, I really don't have to worry about those toothpaste travel germs.

This amazing cleaning kit came with all sort of different cleaners including multi-surface cleaner, bathroom tile cleaner, glass cleaner, tiolet bowl cleaner, etc... Because I already had so much, I gave the majority to my neighbor who is now a complete Seventh Generation fan!

Continuing my blog obsessed journey, here are my March wins. Many thanks to the blog site owners and their sponsors. Just my little tiny blog site requires a lot of work, so I can only imagine how much work is involved in a fully functioning review and giveaway site. The work put into each site-- the reviews, pictures, graphics, communication with sponsors is very much appreciated by me and all the equally obsessed readers out there!

3/2 "The Survivors Club" by Ben Sherwood from Let's Give it Away. In my enthuism to try and win this book, I ended up winning from two different sites. But I did pass the book on to an avid reader to enjoy.

3/2 Horizon Chocolate Milk Giveaway from Save Your Money Mama. This prize included $1 off coupons and two coupons for a 1/2 gallon of Horizon Chocolate Milk. I redeemed all coupons and let me tell you Horizon Chocolate Milk is the best, before giving Horizon a try I was buying store brand but not anymore!

3/4 My Lip Stuff Lip Balms from Simply Living on a Budget. I am not a lipstick person, maybe I'll wear lip gloss occasionally. However I usually have 2 or 3 different kinds of lip balm around that I use a lot. Flavors I received were Chocolate Almond, Doublemint, Bavarian Cream, Cinnamon Frosting, Candy Hearts, and Sex on the Beach. Check out My Lip Stuff, they have over 500 flavors.


3/5 Leakey Photograph Choice from Mint Green With Envy. A lot of brilliant photos to choose from but we ended up with the Black and White Lily. Its gorgeous and hangs in our bathroom. See the pic on the left.

3/11 Carolina Pad Prize Pack from Our Ordinary Life. I received an assortment of Carolina pad items including a notebook, folder, change purse, mini file expander, etc. Carolina pad has so many fun designs for school supplies.

3/11 Seventh Generation Free and Clear Prize Pack from the Groschen Goblins. This fabulous prize pack included Auto Dish pacs, Liquid Dish soap, All Purpose Cleaner, Bathroom cleaner, 2X Ultra Free and Clear Laundry Detergent, Glass & Surface Cleaner, Paper Towels, and a Seventh Generation reusable tote bag. I have been wanting to try Seventh Generation products so I was excited for this win. The cleaners don't smell like cleaners, free and clear just as the name says!

3/13 A scarf from the Affordable Scarves website, won from a Fairy Blog Mother. I choose this one Isee pic on right) and I love it. With all the different colors in the small print, I can wear it with just about any outfit. Affordable Scarves has a number of really cute scarves and they are yes, they are affordable, hence the name.

3/13 "Corked" by Kathryn Borel from Mama's Money Savers. I just finished this book a few weeks ago, though it wasn't for me, I always enjoy trying new authors.

3/14 Ozone Socks won from Sugar Pop Ribbons. I always loved fun socks, forget the boring white ones. Just to give you a rough idea of what's in my sock drawer- my craziest pair of socks are individual toed pink socks with purple monkeys that say, "Like I care."

3/15 The Fantastic Mr Fox DVD won from Tiara's Tantrums. My sister and I wanted to see this movie when it came but never got a chance. We plan on watching it together, we always loved Ronald Dahl books growing up.

3/16 Exuviance Heel Cream won from Trying to Stay Calm. Supposed to work wonders on those hard heels! Fun blog site too, right now there's a Casio camera giveaway I'm in.

3/17 Lucky Land's End Twitter Contest Party, my first twitter try and win! I was extremely fortunate to win a beautiful cashmere wrap. First of all I have never been lucky enough to own anything Land's End, second I've never owned anything cashmere. It is an unbelievably soft and beautiful, I love it!

3/18 The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg won at Park Avenue Princess. This was a really cute book, fast read too, perfect if you need something light to read at the beach.

3/19 Gold N Hot Triple Barrel Waver from The Fabulous Won- perfect when I'm sick of my boring straight hair!

3/19 Dick's Sporting Goods $50 Gift Card from Sage and Savvy. My husband was happy about this one, most of my giveaway wins are for us females or kids. Now he can use this and get something for himself.

3/19 Baby Bunch Banquet from Is it Naptime Yet? Perfect timing for a friend's baby shower. Everyone thought the banquet was so neat and asked me where I got it at. I didn't exactly fess up to winning it but I told them the website address.

3/20 Bebe Dulce Relaxation Pillow from Feisty Frugal and Fabulous. I keep forgetting I have this, the next time I ache or I am stressed it can be heated or cooled for relief and relaxation.

3/20 Human Nature Autographed CD from Momma in Flip Flops. Cool that it was autographed!

3/20 Kroger $25 gift card from Mommy Memorandum. Kroger is right down the road from me and is my usual weekly grocery store. This gift card was really helpful considering I have been trying to lower my food budget.

3/21 Earthworks lotion and soap from Familylicious. I choose Japanese Flower for my scent, it smells wonderful!

3/21 Babyjorn Babysitter Balance from Jolly Mom. Either going to save this for whenever my husband and I decide to have a baby or someone is getting a really nice baby shower gift.

3/22 Disney Family Prize Pack from The Not-so Blog's Experimental Mommy- came with a Bath and Body Works candle, eye mask, tweezer and nail file set, and a small bathroom travel bag- all very handy!

3/24 Orglamix 3 eyeshades from Tales of a Sweeper, just for fun I picked a dark blue, pretty pink, and a shiney white.

3/26 $25 Kroger gift card from Mama Dweeb- YES let's reduce that grocery bill please!

3/29 Priya Skirt Bamboosa from A Mom's Impression- I choose a really cute red color. The skirt is so comfortable too!

3/30 Ecosmart Safe Plant and Garden Pack from Tiaras and Tantrums- perfect for my garden. I've already made good use of it with the ant hills in my yard.

3/31 Dick's Sporting Goods $50 Gift card from Second Time Around- I was lucky enough to win 2, which made my husband double happy.

3/31 The Princess and the Frog DVD from Barbee Love. I was so happy to win this, I missed it when it was in the theaters.

I am blog obsessed! Jan to Feb

I used to only do national sweepstakes and instant wins. While I didn't win anything big I always felt lucky when I randomly won a pair of movie tickets or a gift card. One day in mid January I finished my sweepstakes entering early and decided, I'd give blogging a try. I really didn't know what I was doing and ending up opening a twitter account. Definitely had no clue how to even create a blog site. I decided to give it 2 weeks and if nothing happened, I would move on.

So what happened? You guessed it, at the end of those two weeks, I had won 3 blog giveaways- definitely a better rate than the other games I was playing and now 3 months later I am OBSESSED with blogs. I never realized how many giveaway blog sites there were and how each site has so many great giveaways.

2/20 Hairfree Round and Flat Brush from the Fairy Blog Mother. I needed a brush, I had gotten away with not having a brush for a few months because my hair was short but it was starting to become more noticeable.

2/20 Kimochi Doll from Take it From Me. I choose the Bug Doll and it is too cute. By the way, Kimochi in Japanese means feelings.

2/25 Baby Silk Delicate Skin Lotion from Sugar Pop Ribbons. This one also want to my neighbor who says it works really well.

2/28 Noah's Arc Animal Workshop Pink Poodle from One Bored Mommy. This stuffed animal poodle bag is too cute. It also came with cute little nail polish for kids.
